Co-Protolab

prototyping environment for industrial services

The aim of the project is to develop and test a research, innovation and demonstration environment, Co-Protolab, for developing industrial services in collaboration with universities and companies. Co-Protolab brings together key competences related to development of industrial services: industrial processes, IoT and information management, service and interaction design, and protection of immaterial rights.

Co-Protolab is a physical and virtual platform for quick experiments. The laboratory has facilities for research and development of industrial service solutions in multidisciplinary collaboration as well as digital technologies for service development and production. In addition, Co-Protolab supports commercialisation of service innovations through studying and developing digital tools for protecting immaterial rights.

The key phases of the project are: planning and action plan for the laboratory, planning and implementing physical and virtual environment as well as producing demonstration and dissemination of the results. The project results in an action plan, physical and virtual platform and demonstrations of service prototypes.
