InnoWork, Towards a More Innovative Workplace, promotes innovation at work place by developing and delivering vocational teaching and training material. The main target groups of the project are micro, small and medium size companies (SMEs) and continuing VET providers.
The main aim of the project is to create a more innovation-friendly environment for the SMEs in the European Union, and to increase their adaptability in the business world. The tool used will be training and educational material on organisational innovation developed during the project. The educational material will be open access for the interested. It will be formed of:
- InnoWork Curriculum: e.g. contents and objectives of the course, prerequisites for taking the course, key competences developed through the course, and specialisation (for targeted learners),
- Training content: training materials to boost innovation and creativity skills in SMEs. Examples of the content: “innovation leadership”, “Technology as an enabler of innovative ideas”, “creative workplace management”
- Guidelines for VET providers for developing training content of InnoWork
- InnoWork website: for presenting the training content for the SMEs and for providing an exercise tool for the VET institutions. All materials will be available on the project webpage.
Hence InnoWork supports EU micro and SMEs in developing skills for implementing systematic innovation and aims to improve the competitiveness of SMEs. Synergies will be created in creativity and innovation management between EU SMEs, research community, and vocational training institutions (VET)
